The Bowmont is a photography studio and kitchen for hire in the heart of Franklin Tasmania. Perfect for cookbook shoots, food focused content and more. On the ground floor, the photography studio includes a 70msq flexible room with four metre high ceilings, soaring east and south facing windows, along with a smaller 20msq room painted a rich, moody blue grey. For photography the studio works for still life, portraiture and film. The space has a large black Aga for cooking and alongside is a small kitchen with a full battery of equipment. Tasmanian stylist, Michelle Crawford’s extensive collection of props, backdrops are available for use.
The Bowmont studio is perfect for long table lunches, launches and workshops and a place for cooks from around the world can gather. The multipurpose space can be reconfigured to suit your needs. For workshops we can cater for up to 16 people, if a sit down lunch is required. For theatre-style and cocktails events up to 24 people.
Upstairs, a two bedroom self-contained apartment is available for short stays and product shoots. Clients include Blundstone, Lark Whisky, The Society Inc, Callington Gin, The Hosting Masterclass, Banjo’s Bakery, Tourism Tasmania, Country Style Magazine, R & R Smith, Futago, Fat Pig Farm, and Aga Australia.
