Please Note: Our standard listed rate is for two guests sharing the same bedroom.

If you are two guests wishing to use both bedrooms, there is an additional $50 per night charge. Please book for 3 guests to ensure this process is completed correctly. We can accommodate a total of 4 guests at The Bowmont.

The kitchen is equipped for simple self-catering, featuring a plug-in induction plate, a small fridge, toaster, and all the necessary essentials. You’ll find local tips in the house manual for where to shop, or better yet, where to eat out.

One glorious bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, underfloor heating, and a huge tub.

We have off-street parking for two cars. There’s no outdoor space for guests, but on your doorstep is the expansive Huon River waterfront. There are picnic spots, walking tracks, and places to sit and ponder aplenty, so get out into it.

Your hosts live on the ground floor at the rear of the large building and are available if you need them, but as a rule, they will leave you to enjoy your own company.

Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your stay.

Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount. Cancellations within 5 days of arrival are non-refundable.

As The Bowmont is a small independently run stay, late cancellations can be difficult to refill, and we appreciate your understanding.

The apartment occupies the upper floor of a heritage building and is reached by two flights of stairs. There is no lift.
